A mentally disturbed man tried to commit suicide by setting himself on fire but was saved by his family. The man was rushed to the Hafr Al-Batin Hospital with a Civil Defense ambulance. Medical sources said the 35-year-old man suffered second and third degree burns and is undergoing treatment. The man's father suffered burns to his hands and arms in his attempt to save his son's life. Brig. Yusuf Al-Qahtani, spokesman for the Civil Defense in the Eastern Province, said the police was informed about the incident. An investigating officer visited the hospital to conduct an investigation into the matter.
