Rick DiPietro made 20 saves for his first shutout in almost two years and Matt Moulson scored twice to lead the New York Islanders to a 4-0 win over the New Jersey Devils in the NHL Monday. The resurgent Islanders have four straight wins, matching a season high. New York has won six of seven overall and will head to Pittsburgh to face the defending Stanley Cup champion Tuesday. Mark Streit and Josh Bailey also had goals for the Islanders, who chased NHL career wins leader Martin Brodeur before the start of the third period. Senators 5, Bruins 1: At Boston, Daniel Alfredsson scored three goals in his second game after missing 11 with a shoulder injury to lead Ottawa past struggling Boston. Mike Fisher had three assists and Filip Kuba, who returned from a four-game injury layoff, assisted on two of Alfredsson's goals as the Senators won their third straight game after losing five in a row. Alfredsson completed his ninth career hat trick, including two in the playoffs, about three minutes later on a power play against goalie Tuukka Rask. Alex Kovalev and Jonathan Cheechoo also scored for the Senators. Daniel Paille ruined Brian Elliott's shutout bid at 4:23 of the third.
