The Holy Mosque in Makkah is to be re-carpeted with nearly 14,000 carpets, the head of Holy Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque Affairs has said. Sheikh Saleh Bin Abdul Rahman Al-Hussein said that on instructions from the leadership the ground floor and mataaf area are to have 10,000 new carpets, and 600 shoe storage units. According to Sheikh Abdul Aziz Al-Faleh of the Prophet's Mosque Affairs, the mosque in Madina is to be furnished with 3,400 new carpets.
