King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and the Malaysian Prime Minister Mohamed Najib Bin Abdul Razak are scheduled to discuss in Riyadh today (Saturday) a range of political issues focusing on strengthening Islamic solidarity. The two leaders are also expected to address the Palestinian issue, notably an independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds as its capital, international and regional issues, and ways of boosting bilateral relations. Malaysian political sources say the meeting comes at a “crucial time with delicate developments across the political scene in the Islamic World”. The sources said the Malaysian premier would brief the King on the situation in East Asia and Malaysia's recent achievements, and also congratulate Crown Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Prime Minister, Defense and Aviation Minister and Inspector General, on his safe return to the Kingdom.
