Fire in Makkah hotel

Smoke rises Friday from the top of a 12-story vacant 5-star hotel in Makkah planned to be demolished for the expansion project of the Holy Mosque in Ghaza district. According to spokesman of the Civil Defense in Makkah, Col. Ali Al-Muntasheri, the hotel caught fire from unfinished iron welding work. There were no casualties. - By Majd Al
