The Shoura Council's Security Affairs Committee resumed on Tuesday deliberations on a draft law governing the marriage of Saudis to non-Saudis. Chaired by Muhammad Abu Saq and in the presence of representatives from the Foreign Affairs, Interior and Social Affairs ministries, the committee reviewed the draft law of 11 articles and legal amendments, with discussions centered on how to meet social and security needs and embassy work methods in order to ensure the rights of couples and their children. The committee is expected to submit its final report to the Shoura Council's General Commission for the draft law to be placed on the Council's meeting agenda.
