Two men observed passing sports bags from one vehicle to another in central Jeddah prompted police patrols to call in back up before moving in to make an arrest. Officers moved in having surrounded the site, foiling the pair as they attempted to make their escape, and upon inspection the 12 bags in their possession were found to contain 228 bottles of vodka and whisky, purportedly worth around quarter of a million riyals.
