A number of Japanese Embassy officials and their families visited the most prominent tourist and archeological sites and traditional markets in Al-Ahsa Governorate. The delegation comprising 17 people toured Al-Khamis Market, Ibrahim Ancient Palace and Al-Ahsa National Museum and were briefed on the history of the palace and its acquisitions. The delegation visited the caves on Mount Al-Qarah, Doghat Al-Gharash for pottery, Al-Jawhariah Spring in Al-Battaliah and Al-Waha Farms and saw the irrigation and drainage project.
