The Board of Directors for Okaz Organization for Press and Publication has approved the general budget for the organization and its sectors for fiscal year 2010. The budget envisages many future projects that will have a positive impact on the organization's goals. The projects are commensurate with the expansion in press publication that the Kingdom is witnessing and will enable the organization to keep pace with the latest developments in the information field. This came during the ordinary Board of Directors meeting held Thursday. The meeting was presided over by Dr. Sa'ed Al-Orabi Al-Harthi, Chairman of the Board of Directors. The board also approved a comprehensive training plan to upgrade the standard of Okaz employees as well as numerous subjects related to the functions and goals of the organization. The board expressed its thanks and appreciation to the Chairman of the Board of Directors, officials and editorial staff for the efforts exerted to upgrade the standard of the organization. The meeting was attended by Dr. Waleed Hashim, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Hamoud Al-Badr, Abdul Lateef Al-Jabr, Abdullah Kamel, Abdullah Khayyat, Dr. Tariq Fad'aq and Waleed J. Kattan, Director General of the organization. The meeting was conducted by Ahmad Bin Sulaiman Al-Battah, Secretary of the Board of Directors.
