The Deputy Mayor for Construction and Projects said earlier this week that thoroughfares in the flood-hit districts of Umm Al-Khair and Al-Musaa'ediya, along with public parks in the area, will return to their former condition by the end of March. “Work on the old Makkah Highway from Kilo 4 to Kilo 14 began last week,” said Ibrahim Katabkhana, “and will be finished by the end of February.”
