The Ministry of Culture and Information announced Saturday that last week it informed the companies, institutions and consortia which have been qualified for licenses on FM Radio Broadcasting in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia of the financial tenders mechanism of licenses. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Ministry's Assistant Undersecretary for Engineering Affairs and Supervisor of Organization of Audio-Visual Media, Riadh Najm has pointed out that this mechanism includes presentation of consecutive financial tenders for each of the five offered licenses with a period of two weeks between the license and the following one, noting that the first license will be given on January 30, 2010.
