Savola Group has helped victims of the recent flood disaster in Jeddah by donating SR2 million in Panda Supermarket coupons to victims and providing financial assistance to Savola employees directly affected by the event. The coupons were given to the Prince Majed Bin Abdul Aziz Society and Al-Birr Charitable Society, both of which are working in the distribution of aid. Managing Director of Savola Group Sami Baroum said the gesture would enable families to purchase their various necessities found beneath the single roof of every Panda Supermarket. Panda Supermarkets also called on its staff to volunteer for relief work and help in the distribution of aid.
