Dancers perform a Malaysian traditional Malay “zapin” dance during “Gema Zafana” at The Palace of Culture in Kuala Lumpur, Monday. Zapin, introduced by Arab Muslims from the Middle East in the 14th century, was formerly performed during ceremonies but now has become a Malay traditional performance for entertainment. Gema Zafana involves 200 dancers.
