The pursuit of a man wanted by the Anti-Narcotics Squad led to panic at a girls' school in Arar on Tuesday when the man, who had been surrounded in his house close to the site of the school, opened fire on officers. The local education administration ordered that pupils be kept in the school as a precaution.“We brought in five buses to transport the pupils in case of emergency,” said the local education head. There were no reports of injuries. Meanwhile, police in Riyadh are trying to identify a group of persons who opened fire at a secondary school perimeter wall and fled on Tuesday.The incident at Al-Nuwei'ama School in Wadi Al-Dawasir caused panic among staff and pupils, but no one was hurt in the incident.
