A man, his child, and two child relatives were killed Monday when their bus collided with a truck that had allegedly swerved in their way, according to eyewitness. Miteb Al-Muzaini, who was driving the three children and their classmates to a school in east Jeddah, could not stop his bus, and hit the giant truck driven by a Pakistani national. The Rahna Elementary School mourned the death of its three students Abdullah Al-Muzaini and his two relatives Waleed Al-Muzaini and Abdulaziz Al-Muzaini. They were brilliant students and the school was going to miss them, said the school principal, Ali Najib Al-Harbi. Another five students of the same family were taken to King Abdul Aziz Hospital with serious head and stomach injuries. They are in the Intensive Care Unit, said Sami Al-Sabhani, head of the Emergency Room at the hospital. Only one person has been stabilized, he said. Police have taken the Pakistani truck driver into custody, and investigations are continuing. Bakr Ba-Safar, director of the Makkah Education Department, offered his condolences to the family of the victims.
