Passports Dept. reminds pilgrims of deadline

The Passports Department has reminded foreign pilgrims still in the Kingdom to depart the country before Muharram 16 (Jan. 2, 2010) and avoid staying beyond the permitted period of their visas.
The department wished all pilgrims a safe passage and arrival in their home countries, while warning that persons who remain beyond the validity of their visas would be questioned and face punishment.
