Jotun Paints, one of the world's leading producers and suppliers of paints and coatings, announced that it has completed painting the first phase of the EGP10 billion “Marassi” development, the world-class tourist and residential project by Emaar Misr, the Egyptian subsidiary of global property developer Emaar Properties PJSC. The company delivered EGP600,000 worth of paint products under its revolutionary “Single Source Solution” concept to paint the 250 villas, a beach clubhouse and golf academy, which cover an area spanning 81,000 sq. metres within the first phase of “Marassi.” Jotun utilized its “Jotashield” brand as the exterior paint for the project, with a total of 250 villas painted using “Jotashield Top Coat Silk”, and the golf academy coated with “Jotashield Heritage Traditional Tex.” “Fenomastic”, Jotun's range of interior paints, has been used on the beach clubhouse and two model villas, while “Road Marking Paint” marked the ring road, and “Penguard FC” covered the metal doors across the development. “We have built our global repute by associating our paint products with iconic developments and landmarks across the region, where we leverage our pioneering ‘Single Source Solution' concept to effectively address the unique requirements of our regional clients,” said Per Harald Engesaeth, general manager, El Mohandes Jotun Paints Egypt. “Our involvement in the prestigious Marassi project gives us an excellent opportunity to highlight the superiority of our individual specialty paint brands.”
