Three Saudis arrived in Riyadh on Tuesday having walked 350 km barefoot as a symbol of their joy at the return of Crown Prince Sultan to the Kingdom. Munif Al-Otaibi, Sultan Al-Otaibi and Muflih Al-Otaibi set out the previous Wednesday from Mugheib Al-Sirr near Al-Dawadami, taking the indirect route to the capital via Shaqra, finally reaching the Riyadh province five days later when they were met upon their arrival by a local sheikh who held a feast in their honor. The following day the barefoot trio completed their journey when they arrived in Al-Diri'iya, grateful for the moderate weather conditions experienced over the whole trip.
