On behalf of King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prince Naif Bin Abdul Aziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, patronized the fourth Riyadh Economic Forum here Sunday. The Minister of Commerce and Industry, Abdullah Bin Ahmed Zeinal, and chairman of the Board of Directors of Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Abdulrahman Bin Ali Al-Jeraisi and other top officials received the prince. Wishing all the success to the forum, Prince Naif said that the King's patronage for the forum, who is also Chairman of the Supreme Economic Council, embodied great support for the forum's overall activities. He said that the forum is being held during an era of rapid economic growth amid comprehensive reforms initiated by the Kingdom under the able leadership of King Abdullah. Prince Naif noted that the holding of the forum coincides with the safe return and recovery of Crown Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General. The Second Deputy Premier said that the Kingdom has taken a number of initiatives for social and economic uplift. Prince Naif pointed out that the limited impact of the global economic meltdown on the national economy is a testimony to the success of the Kingdom's financial and monetary policies. The Minister of Commerce and Industry, Abdullah Bin Ahmed Zeinal, said that improvement in the living standards of the citizens is an important achievement of the Kingdom. A number of princes and top officials attended the ceremony.
