King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, will patronize Sunday in Riyadh the 4th Arab Conference for Industrial Information and Networks being organized by the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization. The conference has been coordinated with the Arab Organization for Industrial Development of the Arab League. The conference focuses on the prospects for Arab industrial development and industrial integration. Engineer Nabil Bin Amin Mullah, Governor of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization, said the King's patronage reflects the due attention he gives to joint Arab work and his support for the efforts being made for the development of Arab industry and transfer of knowledge to the Arab world. He said these efforts effectively contribute to the diversification of the revenue and development of exports in Arab countries. He added that the conference focuses on the basic data infrastructure, added value, standard specifications, enforcement of quality systems and Arab industrial integration.
