Harbi, Chairman of Bin Hindi Group of Holding Companies and member of the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce, has been thanked by Jeddah Governor Prince Mi'shal Bin Majed Bin Abdul Aziz for putting the staff and facilities of his companies at the disposal of the victims of the east Jeddah floods disaster. Al-Harbi received a letter of gratitude from the Prince after supplying construction equipment and workers to help remove debris from affected areas. “The teams have so far removed mud and debris from Al-Sairah Al-Attrah Street and helped in the clean up process on Abdullah Al-Suleiman Steet in the Al-Jamia district which has included removing vehicles picked up by floods in Quwaizah,” Al-Harbi said. “We have also been building temporary roads connecting the main road between Quwaizah and Al-Sawaid,” he said. On Tuesday Al-Harbi continued his acts of generosity by offering to conduct repairs on unused King Abdulaziz University residences, some 130 buildings on the King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Road, which will then be used to provide accommodation for homeless flood victims.
