A motorist who spotted a gang of robbers exiting from his father's house engaged in a pursuit which resulted in the death of his daughter and injuries to himself and his wife. The three-member family was by chance passing by the house of relatives in Al-Malaz when they observed the gang of four Arabs and an African exiting from site, and the father decided to pursue them in his car, leading to a crash into a wall. The burglars were caught by police three days after the incident, which occurred early in the Eid holidays, and found in their possession gold and jewels stolen from the house.
