At a ceremony held here Tuesday, Dr. Abdul Wahed Al-Humaid, Deputy Minister of Labor, handed over the annual Okaz awards to outstanding workers for their exceptional and creative work. At the outset of the ceremony, Mohammed Al-Tunisi, Editor-in-Chief of Okaz newspaper, said deserving workers should always be rewarded and their work acknowledged. That way the morale of the workers get a boost which is vital for the success of any organization. “Okaz Organization has played a pivotal role to establish a direct career program in coordination with Ministry of Labor for Saudi youth this year,” he said. More than 67 percent of the 809 workers in the organization are Saudis, he said. “This goes on to prove the sincere support the organization extends to the Saudization plan,” he added. The deputy minister of labor said his ministry is set to announce soon King Abdullah Award for the companies training Saudi workforce. On behalf of the winners, Taher Al-Dabbagh said: “This award will motivate the Saudi youth so that they contribute to the Kingdom's development whole-heartedly. The award for the ideal organization in terms of supporting the national economic and training went to Mobil Refinery of Aramco, Mobily, Abdullateef Jameel Limited Company, Al-Geraisy Group, Riyadh Bank, the Saudi Company for Economic Development, Jamjoom Factory for Medical Industries, Al-Shaya International Company, Sanabel Al-Salam Industries and Al-Bayan School. Winners of Okaz Award for ideal employees were Mostafa Qassem from Mobil Refinery of Aramco, Ahmed Mosawa from Mobily, Taher Al-Ghamdi from Abdullateef Jameel Limited Compny, Sultan Al-Magdoomy from Al-Jeraisy Group, Ahmed Zaidan from Riyad Bank, Danya Bahanshel from SAB, Esam Malaekah from Saudi Company for Economic Development, Jameel Al-Kotbey from Jamjoom Factory for Medical Industries, Hesham Al-Khaledy from Al-Shaya International Company, and Rafaa Bin Laden from Al
