World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) has provided 10-truck load of foodstuff for those affected by floods in Quwaizah. As the trucks were not able to reach most of the areas inside the district because of the rugged and damaged roads, about 100 young men volunteered to distribute 2,400 food baskets and mattresses, pillows, carpets and other supplies of daily use among the affected at refugee centers, furnished apartments and poorly-restored houses. At an emergency meeting here recently WAMY decided to accord absolute priority to the relief plan with increased office working hours.
