The search continues for three missing children after the bodies of their two siblings and both parents have been recovered over the last few days as the death toll rises in the aftermath of floods in Jeddah. An uncle of the children from the Al-Diyabi family, which has been particularly affected by the catastrophe, received condolences from King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, on Saturday at his home in Dhulum for the loss of his sister and her husband and children in floods in the Al-Hazarat district of Jeddah. “His sharing of our sorrow is a source of comfort to the family,” said Fawaz Al-Diyabi of the King's message. Family relatives have joined the authorities in the search for the remaining three Al-Diyabi missing children – aged 11, 12, and 15 – who were visiting relatives with their parents at the time of the floods. Eyewitnesses reported seeing the children and their parents being swept away by the waters from in front of the house. The four bodies so far recovered were all found at different times and locations over the past few days, the mother's body nearly 14 km away from the site where she was last seen.
