“Saudi Zain” has launched an education training center for women evacuees on the Saudi-Yemeni border. The center has been set up by the company in Ahad Al-Masareha, in collaboration with the Al-Nahdha Women's Charitable Society. It provides various services to displaced girls and women, including programs for the memorization of the Holy Qur'an, enlightenment lectures and literacy programs. The center will also provide training for women and girls in handicraft and other vocations. The center will see skilled Saudi women pass their expertise on to others. The company has provided all the training requirements, including tools, materials and educational aids. Engineer Ismail Fikri, Executive President for Operations at Saudi Zain, said the establishment of the center is aimed at helping people living in the tent camps. He said the company wants to ensure that development continues in all regions of the country. The official said the company also wanted to show solidarity with those who have had to leave their homes because of the conflict at the border. He also praised other initiatives that have been taken by the government and other private companies to help these citizens. Saudis could be proud of all these projects, he said.
