A Filipino couple, accused of killing their housemaid two years ago, confessed Saturday to beating her to death and chopping off her body parts before burying her in the concrete floor of their house. The couple, however, said that the maid was mistreating their children in her care. The Filipino housewife told investigators that she used a baseball bat to beat the victim until she fell down. The husband, according to the testimony, was then called to the house by his wife. When he came, he also beat the maid, but this time, until she fell unconscious. The couple moved the maid to the bathroom to help her regain consciousness but she died immediately afterwards. The couple also testified that they carried the dead body in their car to the Jubail Expressway, but changed their mind and cut the body into small pieces and buried them in the concrete floor of a room inside their house. After burying her, the couple reported the maid as missing. A family dispute between the couple later led the wife to report the crime to the police.
