Shuja Muhammad Dha'ar, Director General of Education in Jizan, has emphasized the readiness of the school at Al-Kamel camp for evacuees to receive students immediately after the Eid Al-Adha holiday. Dha'ar said Prince Faisal Bin Abdullah, Minister of Education, gave his directives that studies should begin from the first minute of the first school day after the holiday. He said the school set up at the camp comprises 18 classrooms covering the three educational stages with 10 classrooms for elementary students, five for intermediate and three for secondary students. He stressed that highly qualified teachers have been assigned to teach in the school. He said 51 schools in the border villages accommodating over 6,533 students have been evacuated. Pupils in these schools were distributed to schools near the residences of evacuated families. He said all schools have been instructed to accept all evacuated students without restrictions, adding that the Education Administration has provided more than 10 buses to transport students to and from schools. He said the administration would extend all help to students with special needs and their families besides paying stipends to students living in remote areas.
