Saudis from the village of Al-Sayyabah claim that infiltrators invaded their homes and threatened them with machine guns. This was the way Jaber Hasan Al-Ka'bi, 80, described the situation before he was evacuated from his village to a tent camp in Dhamad. His village is one kilometer away from Mount Dokhan on the border with Yemen. “The infiltrators were continually harassing us and threatening us at gunpoint even though we had done nothing. We never expected them to stoop to this level. Therefore, it was necessary for the armed forces to act after seeing that the infiltrators posed a threat to citizens on the border.” “The Frontier Guard was forced to evacuate us from our houses to protect us from the danger of the aggressors. They took us in vehicles prepared for this purpose. We noticed the personnel of the Frontier Guard teams combing the area and guarding it day and night. This reassured us that our homes were being protected and were in safe hands.” Al-Ka'bi said Saudi forces started striking the strongholds and locations of the infiltrators the moment citizens left their homes. This was to clear the region of these infiltrators. He said Saudi forces told them to leave their homes by using sirens and loudspeakers. “With our families we reached the tent camps where we found all the living requirements needed. We pray to Allah to protect the Kingdom's soldiers against the enemies, who have not respected the rights of neighbors. We pray that they succeed in clearing the border areas of the infiltrators and defeat them. These infiltrators wouldn't have resisted if it were not for foreign support.”
