Workers miss their families during the Eid days but are happy to serve pilgrims on their holy journey. A number of male and female medical workers said that they were happy to help pilgrims. Dr. Ihsan Ma'ajini, Director of Mina Al-Jisr Hospital, who has been working during the Haj for the past 12 years, said his professional responsibility is towards pilgrims. Dr. Intissar Al-Tayyib, Head of the Gynecology and Obstetrics Department said everyone who works during Haj is honored to do so. Dr. Najwa Al-Tayyib Ibrahim, who is on secondment from Taif, said she has devoted herself to serve pilgrims. She said she works on whatever shift she is required. Seeing a pilgrim smile compensates for any longing to celebrate Eid with her family and relatives. She added that the state is honored to assist pilgrims. Shadha Muhammad Ahmad, Head of Intensive Care Unit Nursing, said her work on Eid Day is a service to her religion and nation. This was an honor that every citizen in this country sought, she said. Rawiyah Fallatah, Head of the Nursing Department, said Eid with family is special, but providing medical services, made available by the state, provides a special satisfaction and happiness. Zakiya Sa'eed Abdul Fattah, said she has been working for the past 15 years during the Eid days and does not hesitate to do so every year. Two female nurses Zainab Al-Sheikh and Nafla Al-Huseini, said they consider this a national duty.
