France could not match a ruthless display by the visitors and had to be content with three penalties from scrumhalf Julien Dupuy and a drop goal by flyhalf Francois Trinh-Duc. Ireland stuns South Africa In Dublin, Six Nations champion Ireland beat World and Tri Nations champion South Africa 15-10 in a battle of the hemispheres at a foggy Croke Park Saturday. Ireland's Jonathan Sexton delivered another nerveless display at flyhalf to kick all 15 of the home side's points. South Africa had gone into halftime 10-6 in front. The host's pack utterly dominated the final quarter to extend its unbeaten run to 11 games. Argentina pips Scotland In Edinburgh, injury-depleted Argentina pipped Scotland 9-6 with a last-gasp drop goal at Murrayfield Saturday to record its first win in this year's November internationals. The Pumas, beaten by England and Wales on the last two weekends, were down 6-0 at halftime but showed more in attack in the second half and drew level with two penalties by Martin Rodriguez, who then broke Scottish hearts with a 77th minute drop goal. Italy downs Samoa Host Italy ended a 13-match winless run by beating Samoa 24-6 Saturday. The Italians scored two tries. Luke McLean went over in the first half, and in the final minutes referee Christophe Berdos awarded Italy a penalty try after Samoa continued to infringe at scrums on its line. Mirco Bergamasco added eight points with two penalties and a conversion, while Craig Gower kicked a penalty and scrumhalf Tito Tebaldi slotted a second-half drop goal. For Samoa, Titi Esau scored two penalties. Australia crushes Wales In Cardiff, Australia scored three early tries Saturday to set up a 33-12 win at Wales and round off its northern hemisphere tour on a high. Digby Ioane, James Horwill and David Pocock touched down in the first 25 minutes as Australia eased into a 20-6 lead to shrug off last week's shock loss to Scotland.
