Special cultural, educational and entertainment programs have been organized for refugees at a camp in this area. The Eid programs have been organized jointly by the Saudi Civil Defense and the World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY). All people can attend, including the refugees who are living at various furnished apartments in the Jizan area. Saudi Civil Defense officials have put the finishing touches to the stage which will be used to entertain the refugees. “Our entertainment programs are not only for the refugees, but also for the families of the Saudi soldiers who have participated in the confrontation with the infiltrators along the Saudi-Yemeni border,” said Abduraboh Al-Hakamey, chairman of WAMY in Jizan. The University of Jizan will also participate in the programs by having its members deliver lectures about diabetes and other health issues. “As a student at the medical faculty of Jizan University, I will present the program which is going to be held on the first day of Eid at Ahad Al-Masareha refugee camp,” said Mohammed Al-Safhi, a volunteer. Meanwhile, Al-Hakamey said that both WAMY and the Civil Defense have distributed clothes for the children, women and men inside the camp. “We have distributed more than 950 food baskets and clothes for the refugees,” he said. Charity organizations from all over the Kingdom have distributed money for the children and their families to keep them happy during Eid. According to WAMY, the total number of refugees has increased to more than 10,000 in the Jizan region. Ahad Al-Masareha camp has 2,500 refugees with more than 1,000 tents. The other number is distributed in furnished apartments in the region. Jizan city has 1,500, Abu Arish has 1,200, Sabya has 1,500, Baysh has 800 and Al
