‘Recipes to Fame' on Fatafeat with Kraft
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 24 - 11 - 2009

If you have a cheddar cheese recipe that is out-of-the-box, mouthwatering and guaranteed to tantalize palates, then this is your chance to share it with others on the most comprehensive Arabic cooking channel, Fatafeat.
The makers of Kraft Cheddar, are offering cooking enthusiasts an exciting opportunity to rise to fame and demonstrate their culinary genius in their Recipes to Fame campaign running from Oct. 15th to Nov. 30. Fatafeat chefs will choose the 10 most creative recipes and will air them on TV and each winner will also receive a gold and diamond necklace, according to Kraft.
“Cheddar cheese is really a versatile cheese that can be used for multiple cooking occasions, and across a vast variety of Arabic and international dishes. The whole objective of ‘Recipes to Fame' is to encourage women to think out-of-the-box and experiment with cheddar cheese in inspiring, new ways. At the same time, we want our consumers to earn recognition for their talent and enthusiasm that extends beyond their own kitchen”, remarked Suzy Fahim from Kraft Foods.
And what better way to earn recognition, praise and a little touch of fame than to have a self-concocted recipe featured on the Arab world's most-watched cooking program? Kraft Cheddar will also produce and distribute a DVD compilation of the chosen top ten recipes.
Thee campaign will feature informative tips, techniques and recipes on everything there is to know about cheddar cheese, including the correct ways and temperatures to store cheddar, how much to use on each cooking occasion to prevent wastage, and how to infuse cheddar beyond just sandwiches and toppings and into a multitude of mouth watering main dishes fit for even the most discerning of palates.
To be apart of this campaign and take a shot at fame, readers can submit their recipes online via www.fatafeat.com or pick up an entry form at participating retail outlets.
