King Fahd Qur'an Printing Complex King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Qur'an is the world's largest Qur'an printing press. It receives thousands of visitors during peak seasons. Since it opened its doors to visitors, the complex has distributed 25 million copies of the Qur'an to visitors. The complex employs more than 1,700 workers, mostly Saudis, at this 250,000 square-meter-facility. The complex produces and distributes an average of 10 million copies of the Qur'an every year. It also produces the Qur'an translated into 47 languages. Since its start, the complex has printed and distributed over 220 million copies of the Qur'an. The Islamic University The Islamic University in Madina is the second oldest university in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It was established in 1381H (1961) with the aim of enrolling students of Islamic studies from all over the world to graduate specialized preachers and scholars who will be well-versed in Islamic Shariah. The University is host to more than 110 different nationalities, with Saudi students making up only 20 percent of the total number of students. The University has five colleges: 1. The College of D'awah (Call and Religious Principles) 2. The College of Qur'an and Islamic Studies 3. The College of Hadith and Islamic Studies 4. The College of Shariah 5. The College of Arabic Language. The colleges have 13 specialized departments. A number of institutes like the Arabic Institute for non-Arabic speakers are also affiliated to the University. __
