Less than two weeks before the start of Haj, 240 chartered Haj flights are arriving daily at King Abdul Aziz International Airport (KAAIA) in Jeddah, according to an official of the Haj United Company. Since last week, the Pilgrim Terminal at KAAIA has been receiving at least 10 flights an hour with 65,000 pilgrims from across the globe arriving in the Kingdom every day, said Abdulillah Jada, the Public Relations Officer at the Haj United Company. The company is tasked with receiving pilgrims, collecting Haj fees and providing ground services and transportation to Makkah.
