Electric Company and ABB Tribe, mentored by Glenn Espiritu, bagged the best bowler and best team awards in the 22nd week of the FBGR-Western Union Monday Bowling League which is supported by the ABS-CBN The Filipino Channel (TFC). The heroics of Mirando lifted Schneider-Electric over Stesa-Thales by 13-1. Mirando exploded a four-game series handicap of 818 and carded 210, 219, 184 and 189. Compatriot Ruben Rialon tallied 737 points while Manny Lebrilla, Cas Encila and Rey Andaya contributed separate series of 665, 649 and 613 points respectively. Abe Abulencia, Ruben Babasa and Zaldy Torres topscored in Stesa-Thales by pouring separate series of 697, 691 and 654. Team mentor Boni Manalang came next with 648 points while Joe Garrido had 500 series in three games. ABB Tribe recorded a 17-2 victory against Lane Master through the good games of titlist Atoi Ramos who scored an impressive four-game series scratch of 861. Ramos had on lines of 238, 204, 245 and 174. Ariel Feliciano and Louie Laguardia submitted an identical series of 750 in four games. Glenn Espiritu and Larry “papalicious” Baleros chipped in 718 and 682 points respectively. Lope Ramirez toppled 764 series in four outings to be at the helm in Lane Masters. The other main scorers were Danny Nabong (673), Reynald Medina (670) and Charles Rosauro (649). Leody Ersando had 336 series in two games. FBGR-Western Union 2 bounced back to occupy once again the top spot by dismantling Genesis, 17-2, through the sterling performances of Pastor Rodel Canda who posted a convincing four game series of 796. Joe Ligon, Gigi Enriquez, Bert Lopez and Jett Cabana excelled too by submitting separate series of 785, 733, 731 and 678,respectively. For the Genesis, having a blind player, on top was Fred Dioquino (764). He was followed by Rollie Cleofe (706), Willy Jadulos (663) and Jun Daniel (616).Benjie Valderama downed 326 series in two games. Defending champion Ericsson walloped previous league leader Fathi Bowlers, 16-6. At the helm in Ericsson was Rocky Manipon with 766 points and he was followed by the multi-awarded and Perfect Score 300 holder Ronald Bautista with 762 points. The combination of Emil Rances and Ric Tugonon posted an identical series of 738 in four games while Padi Padilla shared 702 points. Fathi Abdulaziz led in Fathi Bowlers by knocking down a four game series of 777 and next to him having good scores were Jojo Miraflor (706), Wilson Bacala (689), Fareed Aquino (687) and Edgar Buenaventura (619).
