The Saudi military has evacuated the villages of Abu Rdeef, Al-Magroob, Al-Serdah, and Ghaweyat Al-Qufool in the Jizan region as the infiltrators have constantly changed their positions of attack along the border, eventually extending the restricted zone. According to a media report, about 400 villages have been evacuated to date along the 1,345-km border. The decision by the Saudi military came as the infiltrators moved west of Al-Khubah. This was an attempt to spread Saudi forces over a wider area. The new evacuated area is west of the Dokhan Mountain, about 10 km from Al-Khubah where the confrontation started three weeks ago. The Saudi military used paratroopers and marines to make security sweeps in the new restricted zone, finding weapons inside some homes near the border. An eyewitness told Saudi Gazette that the Saudi military bombed positions at Al-Razeh Mountain, east of the Dokhan Mountain. “While I was watching the mountains along the Yemen border, I saw red lights at Al-Razeh Mountain,” said Ali Hazazy, a Saudi citizen living in Abu Hager village, about 15 kilometers from the Al-Khubah restricted zone. “I haven't seen my home since the beginning of the confrontation, but I can see what is happening at the border because it is so close to Al-Magergam village,” he added. Meanwhile, Ali Rajhi, a Saudi from Ahad Al-Masareha said he encountered three suspected infiltrators dressed in Saudi clothes - white thobes - at his restaurant Monday night. When he asked them what they wanted to eat for dinner they left immediately. “At first I thought that they were needy people but once I reached them they got angry and left. As a result, I called the police and gave them a description of the three men. Fortunately they arrested them near Khulab Valley where they were found hiding in bushes,” he said. In an update on the number of refugees, Abdurabo Hakmey, chairman of the World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) in the Jizan Region said that the number of refugees has increased to more than 7,500 people from 260 villages within the restricted zone. He said that WAMY was doing what it could for the displaced people. “We have organized entertainment, awareness programs and sporting competitions inside the refugee camp at Ahad Al-Masareha,” he added. Engineer Abdullah Dagrery, chief of the Ahad Al-Masareha municipality, said that they had provided 200 workers to collect garbage and install 70 lighting columns in the camp. “We prepared the camp in 24 hours under the orders of Prince Mohamed Bin Nasser Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud, the Emir of the Jizan Region,” he added
