The dark horses of the tournament Rajasthan Royals continued their giant-killing run as Pakistan paceman Sohail Tanvir recorded the best figures in Twenty20 (6 for 14 in 4 overs) to humble Chennai Super Kings to the smallest total of the tourney and storm to the top of the IPL with fifth consecutive win at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium here. Opting to bat Chennai Super Kings bit the dust by being all out for 109 in 19 overs. The Rajasthan Royals hit the target in 14.2 overs as Graeme Smith remained unbeaten on 35 and S. Asnodkar made 32. Shane Warne's well-oiled Rajasthan stays atop with 5-1 win-loss record while it was second consecutive loss for Chennai. In the first match of the day, Mumbai Indians thrived at home under new skipper Sha un Pollock in the absence of injured captain Sachin Tendulkar and a suspended stand-in skipper Harbhajan Singh. Allrounder Pollock dazzled with bat and ball to lead the hosts to a stunning upset of high-flying Delhi Daredevils by 29 runs at the DY Patil Sports Academy Stadium. Requiring a modest 163 for the fifth win, Delhi's much-vaunted batting line-up collapsed for a paltry 133 in 18.5 overs. But for skipper Virender Sehwag (40) and Dinesh Karthik (28) the other batsmen chocked under pressure from Pollock (2-16) and Ashish Nehra (3-25). Earlier Sanath Jayasuriya (34) gave a good start and Robin Uthappa (22) and Pollock (33) followed suit. Scores: Mumbai Indians 162 for 8 (Jayasuriya 34, Thornely 30, Pollock 33, Mahesh 3-33). Delhi Daredevils 133 (Sehwag 40, D. Karthik 28, Nehra 3-25, Pollock 2-16). Player of the Match: Shaun Pollock. Chennai Super Kings 109 in 19 overs (Morkel 42, Raina 27, Tanvir 6-14). Rajasthan Royals 110 for 2 in 14.2 overs (Smith 35*, Asnodkar 32). Player of the Match: Sohail Tanvir.
