“We are proud members of the founders of Alfaisal University,” said President of Boeing International, Shephard W. Hill during his visit and tour to the university. As one of the founders of Alfaisal University, a delegation from Boeing International, the world's leading aerospace company visited the construction site. “I look forward to hearing the latest updates on the progress on the world class university,” Hill told reporters as he arrived at the Late King Faisal's Palace which will be transformed into a museum and the main administration building for the private university. “This is part of our corporate social responsibility, and we encourage education all over the world and especially with a strategic country like Saudi Arabia,” said Hill. The delegation was given a tour of the campus by Prince Bandar Al-Saud, chairman of the Executive Committee. Alfaisal University has already started enrolling students for October. “We already have around a hundred students enrolled in the preparatory program,” said Dr. Alan Goodridge, Provost and Vice President for Alfaisal University. The university will consist of colleges of engineering, medicine, science and general studies and business. The President of Boeing International's visit comes as the university is preparing to launch their Aerospace Engineering program next month. __
