The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will soon approve accepting ‘power of attorney' in electronic documents to replace paper documents for issuing visas from Saudi embassies abroad within two months. Prince Khalid Bin Saud Bin Khalid, undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said that this measure aims to address the phenomenon of trafficking in visas and falsifying their powers of attorney in addition to protect the rights of visa holders. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Prince Khalid said that chambers of commerce and industry as well as recruitment offices in the Kingdom have been told of the new mechanisms for applying this new procedure.
