Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Al-Hariri has said that the near future will witness further Saudi-Lebanese coordination to strengthen Arab unity and “achieve the legitimate aspirations” of the Arab and Palestinian peoples. Al-Hariri made the remarks during a meeting with the Kingdom's Ambassador in Lebanon, Ali Awwadh Asiri, who conveyed congratulations from the Saudi leadership on the new government and Saudi support for the stability and prosperity of the Lebanese people. “The Lebanese government is working to strengthen relations with the Kingdom in political, economic and commercial fields,” Al-Hariri said, describing the Kingdom as a “keen supporter of Lebanon's unity.” “I thank the Saudi leadership for supporting the Lebanese people in the most difficult circumstances with financial, moral and political backing,” he said.
