Three citizens who had been held on charges of recruiting militants in the Kingdom were released on Saturday, authorities said. Qunfudah police arrested the men after they had received a report of a suspected terrorist camp for recruiting and training young people, inspiring them with deviant ideology and heated rhetoric to carry out terrorist acts in Sabt Al-Jarah, 350 km southwest of Jeddah. After thorough investigations, the three were released because they were found clear of any terrorism suspicions, said spokesman of the Ministry of Interior Lt. Gen. Mansour Al-Turki. Al-Turki urged the media to be objective and check for accuracy and authenticity of sources before publishing to save their credibility, asking the media people to always refer to official spokesmen especially in security-related stories. Baseless accusations of people in the media is abhorrent violation of the media law in the Kingdom, he said. – Okaz __
