member Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) has pledged its support for Saudi Arabia's military action against Yemeni rebels who crossed into Saudi territory and killed a number of its nationals. OIC spokesman Ambassador Atta Al-Manan said the Kingdom was within its rights to defend its soil from any attack by armed intruders. The Kingdom's military action was within international law. It had a right to defend its sovereignty, he said. He said the encroachment on the Kingdom's territory is a danger to the security of all other OIC member states. He was confident that the Saudi army would be able to handle the situation. He said the OIC is opposed to the violation of the sovereignty of any country. He stressed that the OIC supports all the Kingdom's efforts to maintain the country's stability and security, and the safety of its people. Infiltration condemned Jordan, Bahrain, and the UAE joined others in condemning the infiltration into Saudi territory by rebels from Yemen.
