The Emir of Makkah Prince Khaled Al-Faisal honored the National Commercial Bank (NCB) for sponsoring the first forum for productive families in Saudi Arabia which was recently held in Jeddah under the slogan “Foreseeing the role of productive families in the light of integrated partnership.” Abdulrazak Elkhraijy, head of the Islamic Banking Development Group at NCB, received the honorary accolade from his highness at the opening ceremony of the forum during which sponsors of the forum were recognized in the presence of government officials, academic specialists and businessmen. Elkhraijy pointed out that sponsoring the forum comes from a genuine commitment towards society and as such the contribution is part of giving back to our home and our community. He added that NCB considers this support as an extension to its efforts in the development of productive families, which is an important part the bank's social responsibility programs throughout the Kingdom. “This support comes from an aspiration to integrate productive families into the engine of the national economy in an institutionalized manner, by enabling them to rise up to the challenges and deliver products that are highly competitive”. NCB carries within its strategic focus the principles of sustainable development which view all endeavors whether in charity work or community service or other fields of development as a whole system requiring continuity and perseverance in order to develop national capabilities and skills that are integral to the national economy, he added.
