Police have arrested three suspects, identified as Asians, in a kidnapping case in which a fellow Asian man was abducted and held hostage for a SR50,000 ransom in Riyadh. Another fellow Asian reported the kidnap to the police saying that the three captors threatened to kill the man if his family back home would not pay the ransom. The kidnappers were found to have held negotiations with the man's family. It was known yet what was the family's response to the demands of the captors. Riyadh police launched a search campaign to arrest the three suspects in coordination with the Asian man who reported them, leading to their arrest.
