Representatives from Rolls-Royce dealerships in the Middle East region convened in Doha, Qatar, this week to discuss business development and launch preparations for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars new model, the Ghost. General managers and brand managers from the eight dealerships across six countries attended the conference led by the Director of Sales and Marketing for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Jolyon Nash and Peter Schoppmann, regional director for the Middle East. “The Middle East region has always been a significant driver of growth for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. The regional dealer conference provides us with the opportunity to engage our dealers in a positive discussion about the future growth of the brand.” “It is very rewarding to see the investment of the dealerships into the business success of Rolls-Royce in the region, with every dealer opening a new or enlarged showroom by mid of 2010,” Nash said. Reiner Braun, Sales & Marketing director of Mohammed Yousuf Naghi Motors, the sole dealer for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, said “we were honored to host the Middle East unveiling of the Ghost in Jeddah, the feedback in Jeddah and Riyadh was overwhelmingly positive. The new Ghost as well as the established Phantom family, will be the drivers for the brand's future growth. We will continue to invest into the sustained success of Rolls-Royce in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.” The Ghost was recently unveiled in Jeddah for the first time in the region. The Ghost is scheduled to make appearances across the Middle East region in the coming two months and first cars will be handed over to customers beginning of 2010.
