The Kingdom's ambassador in Pakistan has said that there were no Saudi fatalities in Monday's suicide blasts in the cities of Rawalpindi and Lahore. Abdul Aziz Al-Ghadeir said Monday that the embassy had contacted all Saudi nationals in the two cities and the embassy-affiliated offices had stepped up security in the wake of the blasts, which had left 35 dead and dozens injured as of Monday evening. Al-Ghadeir reiterated that there were no plans to close Saudi schools in the country and urged Saudi nationals once again to remain alert and avoid crowded areas. There are an estimated 250 to 300 Saudi nationals residing in Islamabad, Lahore and Rawalpindi.
