King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, appointed Prince Mansour Bin Miteb as Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs on Monday following the resignation of Prince Miteb Bin Abdul Aziz from his post as Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) quoted a royal decree as saying. Prince Mansour Bin Miteb holds a PhD in general administration from a US university. Prince Mansour, published author, worked as a professor at King Saud University and headed the General Committee of the Municipal Elections. He was appointed as deputy minister of municipal and rural affairs in 2006.
