Haji Hussein Alireza & Co. Ltd. (HHA), Mazda car dealer in Saudi Arabia, has unveiled on Monday at the Lailaty Hall Jeddah the much-awaited all-new Mazda SUV masterpiece CX-7.
The debut of Mazda's magnum opus followed the successful introduction of its Zoom-Zoom concept car and a number of other models that achieved great demand in the Kingdom as well as in the international market. It was attended by a delegation of senior managers of Mazda Motor Corporation, Japan.
Ali Hussein Ali Reza, general manager of HHA, stressed the importance and durability of the car market in Saudi Arabia and the high demand for new models.
He said: “By the grace and guidance of God, and in view of the strength of our economy as well as our keen collaboration with Mazda Motors over the last period, we achieved excellent sales that exceeded our marketing plans. As I mentioned, cooperation with Mazda Co. resulted in offering excellent and durable models and a great after-sales service at a high level of professionalism with reasonable and affordable rates.”
He added that the all-new impressive and long-awaited Mazda CX-7 2010 model has claimed significant sales in international markets as it represents the latest engineering innovation produced by Mazda engineers and designed to meet the market needs for such magnificent car. Mazda CX-7 targets youth and mid-family sectors.
The Mazda CX-7 is based on the concept of creating a sport crossover SUV - a vehicle in which the great attributes of a sports car are blended with those of a sport utility vehicle - for the North American market. With strengths in terms of “advanced emotional styling” and “exceptional dynamic performance”, it has proven so popular that Mazda decided to expand its sales area beyond North America to the rest of the world,” said Masashi Otsuka, Mazda program manager. “Extensive market research showed that the CX-7 is considered strong in terms of design, handling, and driving performance - all attributes with which Mazda consistently excels,” he added.
The all-new CX-7 features advancements in fuel economy, riding comfort, quietness, and interior quality, establishing three key values for Mazda CX-7.”
“As for the exterior design, we worked hard to incorporate enhancements for a clearer premium identity and a more refined emotional character and improved quality of the all-new CX-7,” he further said.
Market research conducted by Mazda in preparation for the development of the new CX-7 showed that customers immediately recognized this design as a uniquely attractive attribute of the CX-7. These new design elements give the new CX-7 a powerful, athletic look, and more clearly, convey its distinguishing premium identity that generates greater pleasure of ownership.
In developing the new CX-7, Mazda aimed to produce an international model that satisfies customers all over the world and meets their needs. “Thus, we enhanced its appeal and competitiveness by further refining the combination of styling, dynamic performance, and economy in ways that reflect the growing environmental concerns of our customers,” he added.
The all-new CX-7's MZR 2.5 liter inline four-cylinder DOHC 16-valve engine offers maximum torque of 217Nm/3,500rpm and maximum output of 120kW/6,000rpm.
