An agreement was signed Saturday between the Saudi Red Crescent Authority and the Saudi Industrial Property Authority (Modon) to establish airstrips for landing of ambulance helicopters and Emergency Service Centers in 18 industrial cities of Modon. Dr. Tawfig Alrabiah, the director general of Modon, said the agreement will help improve and develop safety of workers in the industrial cities. “This agreement will serve the workmen who work in the factories established in the industrial cities and the surrounding areas, which include more than three thousand factories,” he said. Alrabiah also expressed his thanks and appreciation to Prince Faisal Bin Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz, chief of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, for the initiative in providing advanced emergency services and for the major step taking place in the Saudi Red Crescent's services in all regions of the Kingdom, including the addition of the flying fleet to upgrade the emergency services.
